Just played Skate 3 for a couple of hours, I'm surprised at how sluggish it felt and how some of the animations don't really hold up.

Yeah I played a the series a bunch earlier this year and as much as it kinda hurts to say *overall* this one just feels better and the animations are better. I'm getting the awkward turn perfectly perpendicular to the coping and awkwardly sliding out when exiting tranny grinds slightly less since the update. Still happens quite a bit unfortunately. Wish they all came out as smooth as clip related, tranny skating could feel so good.

Are late flips unlandable on flat for everyone or am I suddenly having a skill issue when it's been simple in all other games

I came up with this when the game first came out and I wanted to do something there but hated the rail. Completely unrealistic but it's a really messed up spot.

the gap in to this bench was super fun in previous updates but I hadnt tried since they changed transition skating. Its a lot harder to grind or footplant this thing now that the game wants to aggressively magnetize you onto the ramp

Once you do crouch, prewind, fliptrick that is at all complicated my brain starts to fog up but you need to prewind if you want to get to 720s

If the devs abstracted the physics and animation systems enough, they could potentially build multiple sports related games out of this foundation, but I doubt they did.

Wouldn't have minded seeing tricking bikes or rollerblades in a game, or as a part of this one, but the devs already can't balance challenges correctly for the Experienced preset.
