Arguably related, I'm replaying Lies of P so I can do the DLC. It steals SO much from souls in general but it's so flawless in its recreation that you can't even be mad.
What do you think? Does it deserve to exist?

Does the PS4 emulator and this actually work and run well?
I have a 4080 but I'm worried the emulator would probably be so resource intensive regardless.

Just killed the queen for the first time since getting the platinum 10 years ago. I honestly kind of like the chalice dungeons. I did them while listening to lore videos

Chalice dungeons are a required taste. I wish the rewards for killing bosses were better. Can understand making them not too easy to grind, but often finishing a level doesn't even net you a level up.
And it's also a big grind to get to the chalice levels that actually have good upgrade material and gems. Still, some of the fiercest bosses are found here. And the levels are always good for the occasional surprise.

Playing this game on emulator at 60FPS with motion blur and chromatic aberration disabled is God's gift to mankind. Shame that the performance is all over the place, Yahargul and Hunter's Nightmare tank the framerate to shit with all the particle effects.
Being able to cheat in any weapon you want at the start of the game is fucking awesome though, I'm doing a Burial Blade playthrough right now.

I realized playing them again that they have so many unique bosses and enemies it feels like I'd be doing myself a disservice by not exploring them a bit. I totally forgot about enemies like the watchdog of the old lords and the bloodletting beast. Plus, lorewise they are really fucking cool.
