Rare has been just as impacted by layoffs as every other Microsoft division.
None of the people who made Kazooie or Tooie are still at Rare.
It would surely be made by a completely different company, and likely people who never even played the original, let alone see the appeal.
Why ask for something you enjoy to be raped and defiled? So that you can participate when they're done?
