Its great. I played through it twice to get 100%. Great characters, fun job system, interesting world, cool spin on the Persona calendar system, ETC. If you like Atlus games you are sure to enjoy it

The problem with the tribes is that they were going too far in being hyper-isolationist, to the point that it was detrimental to their own people. The games ideal is for all cultures to maintain trading connection but still maintain their own tribal identity and customs.

It was in development hell for a long time and was built in Persona 5 engine from the PS3. Thats probably the main thing that I didn't like about it. Because the art direction and world designs are awesome.

I don't care about vidya stories but the worst thing for me was the gameplay: the job system was too barebones (to make it worse i played Metaphor right after Crystal Project which has a top tier job system), the dungeon design was mediocre and the social stuff imported from Persona was laughable. I get journalists voting for the new mass immigration propaganda for GOTY but i expected i little more from /v/. Romancing Saga 2 and Reverse Collapse were much better turbn-based RPGs released last year.
