Just play the Super Famicom or PSX versions for 1. Both are in English already except for item descriptions, and for that there is a translation patch for the Super Famicom version.

It needs to add more tavern and well dialogue, or just more options for dialogue while adventuring. That was a big part of the soul but it's so easy to just exhaust everything at this point.
The adventurer side quests they've added have been nice so far, hope they add some for non legendaries.

dungeon crawling wise I would arguably say this is the best the genre has to offer right now. But I would kill for a modern wizardry game that is just an amalgamation of the best features from all the different variations of dungeon crawlers. The animated party is a huge difference upgrade from the originals.

I've been thinking of making a dungeon crawler game in my free time as practice since I liked what I've played of that one ps1 Wizardry game and the little of Etryian Odyssey I've played as well. I personally like the mapping aspect of dungeon crawlers and making your own party, but I wonder what else do you guys find fun about the genre? What would you like to see in a future dungeon crawler game?

this game dungeon travelers 2 is mechanically pretty good but it's also harem slop and a good deal of the monsters are softcore porn. It's sad that the genre has such low traction on its own that they need to fool waifufaggots into buying these maze navigation games.

servicable ports, but play them on an actual ds if you can. mapping on the bottom screen is a big part of the expereince that doesn't translate nearly as fluidly outside of the ds.
