This. I have around at least 300 ROMs I've downloaded and probably have only played about 50 (mostly games from my chilhood that I grew up with). Majority of the shit I haven't played yet, I still haven't even opened yet. I don't even want to think of the games I've pirated...or even the games I've bought on console that just sit on my SDD and external HDD. The problem is that I just keep getting more and more games...the only good thing I can say is that now I just straight up drop a game after an hour or two if I'm genuinely not enjoying it. Whereas before I would literally force myself to play through it, even if I wasn't having fun with the game. That alone has cut down my backlog by like 20-25%.
