the solution is a gaming crash. that's all that will end it. Gaming as a whole is in a fucked state because there are too many suits, and all of them want to see line go up infinitely, they do not care about gaming, they would have invested in anything that looked promising enough

Because they are, the current market is a completely unsustainable chain of releasing a product to create a generation of "influencers" to convince a tiny minority of people to overspend on overpriced accessories in the hopes of becoming a new generation of influencers as actual communities were deemed a threat to the sustainability of the business model that originally started out with tricking people to join the scene of your game by paying influencers to become "high profile" community members

You can't really unless you took out discord, youtube, twitch and probably google and cloudflare.
But in the mean time, you can try and actually interact with friends online and try to convince them to not interact with said services.
The single most damaging thing you can do to these retarded fucks is form off-site networks, preferably not attackable by their conventional means (Cloudflare DDOSing literally fucking everyone using the near entirety of the surface web as a botnet)
Console users are sort of fucked as there's no real escape from modern gaming on them, but PC users can play older games with each other.
Make a forum or something for a few of your friends, and ask their friends to join, try and figure out a schedule for you to play actually fun games, maybe some cycle space if your extended gaming group can't all line up cleanly.

It's still around but has gotten much better compared to how it used to be. Regular play gives around 40-50 draws a month depending on event frequency. Doesn't help much when the rates are still sub 1% though.
