Ehhh, making her hot wouldn't have fixed the basic issues with the game like the cringe voice acting or that they're ripping off Asses Creed (I don't remember which of these games started development first, but it seems pretty clear someone was copying someone else's homework) with the story and all these le quirky minigames to fill up the game with time wasting shit.
The thing is, the two are very often tied together at this point, devs who happily work with twitter brainrotted terrorist loving terminally online activists to mocap and voice their characters are also going to be devs who can, at best, create only derivative and boring stories, and more often write flat out trash that detracts from the game.
From what I've seen and heard Yotei isn't a BAD game fundamentally, but it's a more derived, LESS good version of Tsushima, and based on that I would suspect that the studio will go the way of Bethesda with each subsequent game being shittier than the last until eventually they release a real bellyflop piece of shit and people go "man, I just realized these games have been getting worse for years now!"
