I can confirm that both NATO Engineer and Support classes can be replaced with Male soldiers so you don't have to play as the default female character.

I initially thought that you couldn't play as a male NATO support but he's in there, gotta look a bit harder.

This solves my biggest annoyance with BF6.

when he says realism, he really means the authenticity of the sandbox, as in the sandbox shouldn't have women in it because theres barely any women in the military in real life so it negatively effects the games atmosphere for no benefit, as opposed to being able to jump out of a jet in midair and bazooka another jet then get back in, which is just a result of the ability to get in and out of a jet being abused which gets a pass because its fun or cool, but which also gets dragged into the conversation when someone mistakenly says realism when they really mean authenticity
