Anon, you're Goku, you're the hero of the story, which means if you shrug your duties, then Earth is utterly fucked, because you were supposed to be it's champion.
If you refuse to step into the shoes for your destiny, then the Red Ribbon Army will expand across the world, unchecked, because Goku (you) never stopped them, leading to the suffering of millions before they're eventually put down.
But it doesn't stop there, because, next up you have King Piccolo, and guess what? He's gonna take over the fucking world and kill everyone noble in it because Goku (you) isn't there to stop him. Good job. That means no Kami, no Roshi, no Tien, no Yamacha, no Piccolo Jr, and no Krillin. The Earth is now FUCKED.
Next up, Radiz is gonna come. And do you know what Radiz is gonna do when he sees that Earth has been taken over by a Namekian and Goku is nowhere to be seen? He's gonna assume that the people of Earth killed Goku, and in retaliation, he's probably gonna kill everyone on the planet.
If by some miracle, King Piccolo can beat Radiz, then humanity STILL has to deal with Buu, Radiz and Nappa (who would still wanna visit for the Dragon Balls if they heard Radiz mention it), and the Androids....all of which no one on humanity can handle, so humanity gets wiped out, and Earth gets destroyed.
