What are some old games with absolutely dogshit coding? I also remember the old Final Fantasy games (from the SNES days) having plenty of bugs.

its actually coded quite well for the most part

t romhacker

basically any super popular game can be torn apart to find 17 thousand bugs no one would notice on a playthrough

the only bugs in red/blue people would notice in a playthrough or even encounter really are
1. incorrect dual type attack effectiveness messaging
2. focus energy (if they knew what it was supposed to do)
3. fly/dig+fully paralyzed invulnerability (but since the player is the only one who will use these moves it will be a benefit to them to experience this bug)

All of those games are programmed well considering the depth of mechanics implemented in fucking assembly.

my friends and I also found missingno when we were like 6. but yeah a lot of the glitches little tranny zoomer kids do now were completely unknown. so basically every kid in the world was playing this and the only glitch we really knew about was missingno. for years. so it's actually pretty good. the only reason you know about all of theses glitches now is because tons of autismoes have been fucking with the game for 30 years straight nonstop.

>Morrowind
Crashed a lot in its original state, and even GOTY edition still has probably thousands of bugs
>Oblivion
Pretty much the same deal as Morrowind
>Diablo 2 (pre-remaster. Presumably they fixed lots of errors)
The game kicks ass but basically every single skill and monster type is bugged in some way, sometimes substantially so.
