How come so many people are unwilling to acknowledge Totk is vastly superior to Oot in every way?
Anonymous No.722977049 [Report]
Why is OoT so overrated anyway? it's not quite like Zelda 1 or 2, it has a few clones and everyone agrees they're inferior in SS, TP, and WW.

People only like the sequel by merit of how unZelda-like it is.

BOTW + TOTK are terrible games. Ocarina of Time was a good game that changed an entire genre. Don't care if you don't like it, OOT has actual soul.

I know this is bait. Don't care. /v/ is all bait and eculture bullshit now.

I dont think people really disliked TOTK, its just most people thought it was lame how it was basically just BOTW over again.

>we live in a world where the next zelda game after that absolute garbage fire disaster of concept tech-demo barebones gameengine masquerading as a full blown zelda title, was in-fact the same exact game with a different title and literally less content because shrines were removed

These two games actually are the best Zelda games.
Anonymous No.722980987 [Report]
You take the red pill, you accept that BotW and TotK are some of the worst games ever made, at least evidently lesser than all preceding Zelda games before them, and you wake up to see the awful state of the world we find ourselves in which requires so much hard work to restore, maintain, and eventually progress to that common wonderful future we all seem to hope to expect is going to exist by the hard work of people who were never distracted or misled by dysfunctional internet trolls and sociopaths in general.

You take the blue pill, and you go back to fantasy nobody land, the place where where someone else doesn't matter too much, and where having dangerously shitty opinions while interacting with others remains to seem non-consequential because you promise to only do it from the safe comfort of your hidden home through your little technogizbop computertoy thing that you usually only use to attempt causing mental harm to others whom you've forgotten you rely upon to substantiate your life.

>in every way
OoT has more enemy variety.
OoT has better dungeons.
OoT has a cooler Link.
OoT has a better Ganondorf fight.
OoT has better music.
OoT has a useful horse.

LA was my first one so that is by default the best, but the oracle games are great.

What a blessing. I hope they remove TloZ from the title of the next game

After playing Genshin for years TOTK was unplayable for me and I don't feel like I'm missing anything.

because oot's fanbase are ignorant zealots. they arent zelda fans, they're oot fans. they're stuck in the past and blinded by nostalgia, incapable of rational thought.

also, somebody made the funny observation that everyone that sucks off oot like that comes from a troubled/traumatized past or home life. like the game was there for them more than their probably divorced parents were. it was their escape and safe place, so its there to fill the void. they feel compelled to defend it.

>changed a genre
lmao, it was a primitive entry into the 3d medium. every single aspect of it has been improved upon by later games.
