Shoot-out is the best event so far.
It's the only event that actually forces you to keep up with other people so there's not as much bagging.
Air tricks and ring gathering ones are ok since they actually make you move to help your team's score.
Spin drift is dogshit because you can just spin in actual circles til omochao picks you up then drill and spin more to victory.
Tapping is the same thing if more than one person has the same idea of staying behind to tap eachother then both drill back after getting enough score or omochao'd.
You won't see this a lot in your lobbies but once in a while you'll witness it by yourself.

In short: omochao pickup mechanic is dogshit for the game, drill chaining is busted. With both of those nerfed or just the omochao pickup mechanic gone it'd be much better.
Both of these nerfed would help the normal races tremendously as well.

Spin Drift is tolerable, Shoot Out is fucking dire.

spin drift is just normal racing except you need to have 2 of your gadget slots used. There isn't really anything you are doing differently to account for it.

compare it to something like the air trick or even the ring bonus, you are incentivized to take slightly different routes to maximize your trick/ring count. But you should always want to drift around corners or even snake, so you can naturally get a high spin count just playing normally.
