It's super immersive, the open world reminds me of the first time I played Skyrim and I just get sidetracked wandering instead of doing the story missions.

Comparing Yotei to ACShadows as a game is absurd. Yotei is a lot better. Yotei is a revelation in how polished AAA video games should be, everything is seamless, there's no load times for fast travel, there's no load times between jumping into playable flashbacks, where in Shadows which also does the same things there isn't one but 2 separate loading screens between gameplay sections.
