Instead they’re forcing some stupid Dragon bullshit with its design and, to my knowledge, typing. If you were going to run with the idea of the red scales growing into a helmet then they might as well have extended it to full body armour.

CS's animations are overrated. There's too much disconnect between the special move animation and the enemy digimon reacting to the damage. Pokemon doesn't give every pokemon a special cutscene move but there's better flow to the animations. Key examples being YYH Spirit Detective on the GBA and Final Fantasy Legend on the GB.
