I would admit the reuse of environment pieces isn't ideal, but people way overblow how much this happens in actuality. Yes, the same wooden shack thing is used alot but it's never of any importance and is always tweaked and different, the ruins are all made of the same pieces and architecture but they are all different. For an open world game you have to develop like this otherwise the game would take literally 10 years to make.
They had to pick their battles where they reused and instead focussed on having alot of enemy types and bosses which literally every other open world game is the opposite. Breath of the Wild has like 5 enemy types in the entire game, just literally all Bokoblins and shit. GTA is all humans. Skyrim is like 12 entities that aren't humans.
Elden Ring has more enemy types just in the first 30 minutes than all these games have their entire runthrough. That's where ER has it's appeal. You look up the wiki page for creatures on ER compared to any other open world game and it's a horrific mogging.
