Honestly, as a black guy, the virtue signalling behind this game is totally cringe. Troons have watered down a game with some of the most complex moral choices in gaming, into fucking Fable-tier “save your sister or kill her and rule the world”-ahh morality.

The game does spell out pretty well the Legion isn't built on a solid foundation and will crumble when Caesar dies. Even Caesar himself seems to understand as much, that if he doesn't take Vegas by treating the Colorado as his Rubicon that the Legion will not be able to survive. The main issue is that both sides of the conflict are unsustainable in their current trajectories and are relying on Vegas to hopefully fix that when really both will probably fail win or lose, it's just a question of time.

Why is it the NCR's job to protect towns not within their territory? If Primm wants to be independent they have to live with the consequences of that.

Not to play devils advocate for leftypol of all groups BUT the Legion side of the map was meant to be much more fleshed out. But that's what happens when a game has to pander to console cucks and be forced into publishing when it's not finished.
Also le NCR are heckin imperialists who basically just show up to tax your ass an peace out when things get to rough and need to resort to hiring Merc's to achieve total super mutant death against future doctors and lawyers.
