its rare when games let you kill actual animals that aren't "corrupted" or some gay fantasy/fiction element. i was playing gta 5 the other day and you can shoot your neighbors dog. i didnt obviously but the game gives you the option to and its very realistic.

I'd for sure eat some if I shot one just to try but I'm sure the info is out there on whether or not people generally consider it decent tasting.
Though for these sort of trophy animals the main idea is either doing some sort of taxidermy or preserving the skins generally. I'm sure cougars are occasionally shot if they're in a populated area as well though I'd assume that is pretty rare to happen to the point they are killed.
