Fromsoft but Bethesda is a close second. Fromsoft normalized laziness in game design and just ruined games. They don't even try to make them as good as RPGs or action games and just continue to do the same repetitive garbage without learning from their predecessors. They also run and look worse than the average Bethesda game which is lazy enough on its own. Rockstar at least tries to make effort in their experiences unlike those two.

While Bethesda games are mostly unabashed Dogshit now, I do genuinely like the lore and it gave babby me an introduction to Gnosticism which led to other interesting avenues of games and literature which I appreciate even if I've largely lost interest in the Religion. Also mods are fun.

Rockstar makes one game every decade and while technically impressive I wouldn't really call them "fun" anymore. I don't feel like I'd be losing much from not having the experience of killing hookers.
