Most of the people you see in online games in 2025 are not the same breed of human that you would find playing online games 20-25 years ago. The vast majority of people you'll come across today are not playing the game to "play" it, they are playing the game because it's popular and they saw an ad for it. These people buy new thing because it's new then move on to the next new thing, they don't care about winning, they don't care about trying, they don't enjoy learning nor do they respect the effort.
