Yeah I actually think him being a human was kind of lame. It made it seem more like he did everything out of revenge, whether that's true or not.
He was a cool villain for the majority of the story but ended up being lame. The big twist being him trying to execute the same exact plan Wesker had in RE5 is just laughable. And then he turns into a big monster and dies.
