i finally got around emulating it yesterday. It does work rather well, but it bugs out every now and then. It's so good, bros.

Im a nintenfriend but ive always been jelly of the good stuff on other consoles so during the 00s i was an idort. Bloodborne is truly the only ps4 game as far as im concerned and i just dont understand why sony has not capitalized more on it and projects of similar quality and drive.

Like, it's insane how good the game is and somehow its like the whole thing is invisible for sony. Theres nothing else like it and lies of P can suck a dick.

I did a PC playthrough with anons from /v/ in January for the first time. It was awesome, threads were very fun too. Pretty much everything worked. Some stutters here and there, mostly in DLC

It's stupid of them not to port it, considering that it would make a massive profit with little effort.
I've seen anons in previous threads say it's probably going to be a launch title for PS6, similar to what they did to Demon Souls.
I'm more angry about Demon Souls not being ported. Does anyone remember Demon Souls being listed in the Nvidia leak a few years back?

Not to get at the shadps4 guy/team but there's like 4 ps4 exclusives and only this one works

Probably will never happen, just like Demons Souls remake. I think both are owned by Japan Studio or something. That is a grim prognosis for any game coming to PC in general I think.

There's a few things you have to fidget with to keep the game from crashing, I don't remember the exact setup but here's what I remember off the top of my head:

>don't update the game
>install the sysmodules
>there's some config you have to change in order to prevent the lighting from fucking up and crashing, it used to be in the settings but in 11.0 you have to change the ini file

NTA I checked the compatibility wiki, you need to enable Readbacks and Readback liner images in the experimental settings. The only way to access them is by right clicking on the game on the list and configuring game specific settings, I don't see them in the general.

Emulation is your best option. Still on the buggy side but perfectly playable from start to finish. The emulator still isn't in its 1.0 phase so there will be some tinkering involved.
I don't really get why Sony wouldn't port it, specially with From being the big industry darling where every new game of theirs is a big event. Maybe they're convinced Bloodborne moves hardware, maybe they ultimately just want people to pay for PSN, maybe some licensing issues we don't know, maybe they only port games to Steam if there's a sequel out in the hopes that playing the first game gets people to go out and buy a PS5 to get the sequel, I don't really know.
