Lisa returns from the injuries she suffered at the end of DOA5 but decides she's not going to do anything because they couldn't think up a storyline for her. We get a shot of Diego's hardscrabble youth to show why he's able to just be one of the best fighters in the world because Tom Lee wanted to push his literal 'diversity and representation' character to try to force him to be popular. The only stories that at least had interesting ideas were NiCO's relationship with Helena and the cliffhanger that she may have even resurrected Helena's mother as the potential DOA7 end boss, and Kokoro's confrontation of Helena over finding out Helena had never told her they were sisters. But either we'll never get to see what happens because they'll never make DOA7 or they'll completely.forget about those plot lines and just do stuff with the ninjas as usual.
