Well Starkiller somewhat earns it by being the son of two jedi, trained by Vader himself and just insanely powerful before fighting Vader (he makes a star destroyer crash with the force for fuck's sake). Starkiller is also controlled by the player. Cere's fight with Vader happens while the player is controlling her as well, and from what I've seen, most players die to Vader way more as Cere than they do as Starkiller. So at least Vader is shown as being tougher there. But some parts of her fight are still weird. Like the saber struggles. Cere has noodle arms, whole Vader has male/cyber arms. Realistically, she should instantly lose any saber clinch with Vader, but as the player you can still make her not lose (Vader still overpowers her with the force but it's bullshit how he doesn't immediately win physically).
It's also a bit gay how Vader hobbles away after winning. He should have walked away without giving a fuck. Cere is a decent jedi, but NOBODY except Luke, Obi, or Asoka on a good day should be able to harm Vader that much.
