Thanks for asking. As I am the only authority on what is and isn't a video game, I see this not just as an opportunity to clear things up but as a responsibility to enact strong bold clear lines of distinction between what is and is NOT a video game.
My ruling is that anything with an anime art style is simply trash. It belongs in the dust bin of time, never to be seen ever again, lest it contaminate the souls of innocents. May God have mercy on anyone who produces anything with an anime art style.
