I am starting to think that when you remove all wasting time mechanics in videogames, most games only last 10 minutes.

The only real diference with AAA is that for every mechanic, there's 5-6 that are made to increase the time it takes to be finished, or add padding content for not other reason to increase play time.

this is similar to why I try to convince people to play chance tabletop systems instead of D&D anymore. you could waste time reading 3 200+ page rulebooks. or you could give your friends some rough guidelines, roll some dice, shoot the shit, and have a chill, hilarious evening of role-playing. D&D rules lawyers have ruined just about every game I've ever played in and are about the worst nerds.
