they changed the way the cars drive backwards to try and stop people from doing the drift money glitch so j-turns are a little harder and doing a 180-degree spin is much harder to catch, though still possible and if you do it right you'll "drift" backwards like arab hagwalah. you want to set your brake bias full rearward and with ABS off, and then when travelling in a straight line, flick the car into a turn while pressing both the normal brake and handbrake. clutch in too, if you're using it. you'll spin on the spot, still travelling triple digits, and pick up a nice drift bonus on top of it. to catch yourself going backwards try to flick the car a little slower, downshift and step on the gas when the front and rear end swap places. the car will skid backwards a very long distance and again you'll get a fat ass drift bonus out of it.
