Modern Link is. I don't think OoT is even second place. My guess for order of most iconic is Modern > Wind Waker > Cartoon Version > that weird Wii U era amalgam one that was in Smash 4, Mario Kart 8, and on the eshop card > Hyrule Warriors > Twilight Princess > OoT > snes > nes > Skyward Sword > gbc. MM was a direct sequel to OOT. WW was a sequel to OOT. TP was a sequel to OOT. Skyward Sword was a prequel to OOT. It wasnt complicated.

The green tunic look is always going to be more iconic since it's the original look for the character.

Also, the clothes changing mechanic in the new games prevents any one look from being as iconic.

That being said, for younger players the game they think of would probably be BOTW instead of OOT.
