apart from the VN stuff which does seem decently engaging, honestly the gameplay comes across as quite bare like either a lot is being hidden/held back or is actually barebones as hell. and the devs don't exactly have pedigree of providing more than a vibe-y cinematic walk along with basically no gameplay agency.
we don't know how expansive actual interiors and self-contained levels we be that aren't just in the open city, which will obviously be a bit inconsequential.
like if you are storming through whole hotels on multiple floors, restaurants, museums etc with non-linear layouts like the first one it could be pretty cool.
the opening scene in the abandoned building has a decent vibe but ofc it's completely linear and basically a tutorial. comes across as more of what they've done in the past.
