Look, just focus on making the game fun. Make it 2D if 3D is too complicated. Look into color theory even if the art is poor. Not a fan of all the brown here, and get a better framerate.

Make a couple of those so you get the feedback necessary to make something genuinely good.
Make that until it gets stale and then make something new, that'll be shit.

I used to cope with the fact that most really good games were made by decently sized teams of people. But now in the last few years some extremely ambitious games have been made by just 1 person and I just don't know how the fuck they do it.

I feel like any sufficiently unemployed person can make a good game if they really want to, though most successful indie devs start with a talent in art or music or both. Coding has never been easier to do on your own

The last ones are alright. Good faces, but still bland. Try drawing anything other than a person's torso looking blankly to the left. I can't draw as good as you obviously but must I've seen what is basically the same drawing over a hundred times by now.

At some point, you need to realize you simply aren't cut out for game/moddev.
It's better to face reality, realize you lack the needed talent, ability to learn and develop skills, and put aside your ambitions of gamedev for good rather than floundering hopelessly for years getting nowhere and stagnating like Cris does.
Some people just aren't meant to make games, Cris is one of these. He would likely be happier if he just stopped trying to make games and settled for consuming them instead.

"Complete" your "game" and then move on to another project. Even if the game is complete dogshit, development of the game will teach you new skills and new understanding. Bringing the whole thing to a close will also teach you how to wrap up project and what you need to do to finish them, in preparation for next time.
