If you didn't play as Chris, you didn't beat the game
>I beat the original Resident Evil 1 as Jill, which means I'm a hardcore gam-ACK!

Hearing them cry about Chris' six inventory slots makes me smile with glee knowing how they'll get filtered by 0.

Can someone clarify for me if the unlockables in these games are permanent (infinite colt, rpg, key for costumes, etc), or disappear after a single playthrough and need to be re-unlocked?
I beat the Director's Cut on PS1 a few years ago and want to continue from that save, but it sounds the game doesn't keep your unlocks

I replayed RE1 not that long ago and I realized how fucking boring the Chris route is. Not only are his inventory slots limiting and slows down the game, the Rebecca segments are nowhere near as fun as the Barry segments in Jill's route. It's still a good game overall, but holy shit I do not feel like replaying it anytime soon.

I didn't even beat it as Jill, playing REmake made me realize I actually hate survival horror games and only started enjoying resident evil with RE3 when it became an action game with some scares

Uh women are the weaker gender. Playing on man is easy mode.

Why do you think so many horror games have female protagonists? It's because weakness is a part of horror and men aren't really weak enough to be threatened.

I'm a trans woman so I play as Jill only.
