I have a similar sentiment about Nightdive, but I'm mad mainly because they never delivered on the VR port of SS2 in their remaster. This specific lie caused me to hate Stephen Kick and has blacklisted him forever in my books. I consider it to be the equivalent of false advertising. The excuses you currently hear about Atari getting in the way of a perfect Blood remaster is all spin work because they're not strangers to making false promises.

Probably Survios. They’re a mostly VR developer who made that Alien Rogue Incursion game, and hired fucking Zoe Quinn (aka the whore who kicked off Gamergate, and MeToo keyboard mafia’d a guy into killing himself) to be the narrative lead, which I didn’t notice until I had already bought it.

When I started a thread in the Steam forum for the game to point that out, they gave me a permaban. That’ll be the last of my money that they ever get.

PIKO Interactive, who are mostly known for doing the Glover and 40 Winks rereleases. Their entire schtick is to buy the rights to semi-famous games that have a leaked or unreleeased beta floating around, then release them. They then copyright strike any reuploads of those decades old roms to encourage people to buy their official releases which come with edited roms to remove trademarks. They also are run by a crypto bro who floated the idea of making releases locked behind crypto once.
For /co/ fags, they got the rights to a semi-lost WB Calamity Jane cartoon and kickstarted a rerelease which I don't think went anywhere.
