Said it before and I'll say it again; around the time your given the choice to have the black detective guy leave, the whole games becomes a complete non-sensical mess.

It becomes painfully clear they genuinely had no clue what they were doing with the story and it ulimately turns out the writers were actually mentally-ill schizophrenic retards.

The game redeems itself as the sheer absurdity of its scenes make up for it despite the boring as fuck police scenes.
The qte to dodge EVERY single objet in his room, the oracle fight or the sudden matrix bullshit of the latter quarter of the game compared to the interesting original premise always puts a grin on my face when I recall it.
Cage accidentally peaked at this for people who can recognize how DBH and Heavy Rain has the same degree of retardation without any of the fun.

Actually it was supposed to be a trilogy that got squished into one. Pacing became hilarious because of this.
