I can agree that games can age in terms of once popular games now being seen as not so good, but I do think older games can be still enjoyable today if they are actually fun.
Biggest culprit for “aging” a game is controls, but this is just because controls have become so standardized over the years.
Even non-standard controls can be fine if they make sense (like Ultima Underworld for example.
