The prequels have mostly stellar art design (with some questionable choices like Dexter Jaxter's cafe). Art design is the best part of SW in general, I don't give a shit about Luke or Anakin or Ray, I just want to see cool spaceships.

I don't care what others say. I'm glad the prequels exist, it gave us Gendy's Clone Wars and a plethora of some of the best video games made during its time.

For the boomer trilogy only Empire Strikes Back is decent.

Yes the droid army was better than the clone army. Even if the clones were better on an inidividual basis the time and resources spent on the buildup was far too costly, relative to their performance.

Meanwhile the CIS also had a superior navy that regularly outperformed the republic. Any scenario that doesnt involve sith niggerism but still has the conflict go into war ends up with seperatists getting what they want one way or another because the republics grand army cant match them.

Naboo is a highly developed world but it's also a backwater with no military. They'd have zero ability to enforce any taxation on anything. The Republic is also meant to be at the height of its corruption and inefficiency so just, you know, refuse to pay them. Use their tradelanes for your goods. Dump your waste on their planet. Realistically, the Droids were super good. It took cloning what was essentially a super badass bounty hunter combat expert in order to actually fight the droid army back. Afterwhich, the emperor had to outlaw combat droids to never have them used against him

Valorum wrangles the Jedi into sending ambassadors to investigate what's going on with Naboo and when they personally report to the whole Senate that the Trade Federation has invaded his response is to ask to send another group to verify the Jedi are telling the truth. No one in the Senate objects or seems to care.

The trade federation is doing what corrupt corporations do where they buy out politicians, but instead of buying them out, they're literally enslaving them and taking their whole home planet hostage. Yes, Separatists were actually "winning" the war despite what the TV series portrayed, every single Republic victory we played or saw somewhere else in the galaxy Separatists were winning 2
The Republics resources had been drained and the Separatists were able to send an army right at their heart of operations, it's why the Republic hands over all power to one man and form the Empire.
Separatists won the Clone Wars but the Empire, who by design knew where to strike key droid infrastructure and Separatist leaders, quickly shut them down and ended all military opposition.
