>Japan is happy with what it is and they consider America their saviors.
You're delusional if you genuinely think that. A common narrative trope from their media of the 60s and 70s was American military men basically being criminals, rapists, smug assholes, a significant portrayal of American militarymen was Getter Robo showing one as incredibly racist and hateful, but he slowly learns that he likes having sex with Japanese women and decides Japanese people are okay.
Ring ni Kakero, 1970s, the American boxing team includes
>A black guy (cheater)
>the leader of the KKK (cheater, jobs in one punch)
>a hells angel (breaks the age bracket rule)
>a death row inmate (breaks the age bracket rule)
>a mexican (cheater)
That is one of the earliest depictions of modern America in popular manga. A gang of cheaters and criminals.
They hardly consider America their saviors beyond a token acknowledgement that WW2 was lost by 1941 and them not conceding earlier was their folly. The typical view of America is as warmongers.

That was what America wanted dumbass. I'm not saying that's what Japan became (they did, they haven't been for a while, but they did), but that's what America specifically wanted in the post-war world.
