Actually NO and that was fucking boring, in the first game they became chill after getting a quick explanation and one called Reverto evens helps you around. In the second game there is a fuckboy hunter called Kyle (and he has the infamous GATO SEXO as his palico) who does distrust riders at first but warm up very fast and join you to defeat the final boss. In the third game it has been 200 years since the second game and riders have become so integrate to society that there are now kingdoms full of them with actual ARMIES of riders, yeah, humanity effectively uses monsters for warfare.
