yes and i play them very well. the genre is ass though. The better you get the less fun it becomes to play against people who are worse than you at the game. this leads you to getting in with the super sweats who made being good at the game their entire personality so theyre all ccringe faggot losers anyway

Soul Calibur VI, Skullgirls, DOA 6, Granblue Fantasy VS, DBFZ, and some KOF and SF.
But all offline against the CPU, I don't play against other human players. I mostly just stick to singleplayer modes. I'll play a few rounds against the CPU with a few characters, then call it a day. I don't really go into training mode and try to git gud unless it's to learn a combo or something. I'm super casual.

I don't really get the appeal. I don't play many multilayer games because it inevitably gets ruined by people being ultra sweaty or abusing some kind of meta. Fighting games feels like that but dialled up to 100. And playing fighting games for the story seems like missing the point.

I try to play the sloppiest, trolliest Potemkin possible anyway, so I tend to have a good feeling for when people are starting to get annoyed at what I'm doing

I've only just taken my first real steps into the genre with SF6. Kind of mind broken right now because I got Master with my first character and immediately dropped 200MR because everyone plays like high Plat/low Diamond Rank psychos but with real combos and corner pressure and my gameplay isn't nearly as solid as I thought it was. I'm too stubborn to switch to another game till I feel like I've become not-a-shitter, but kind of want to try out an anime game like Melty or Uni while also playing SF6.
