Some of the games utilized the touchscreen well like Kid Icarus and Trauma Center. Also as you said the software in general was pretty good for the exclusives

Azahar is a new emu and insanely bad. Like the input lag is actually 1-2 seconds it's so bad. It'll need at least another year in the oven I think, which is why I'm skipping the Thor for now. It'll be on sale for cheaper by then anyways.

Nah, if they're trying to keep costs low, then I bet Anbernic cheaps out and slaps two 480p screens on the thing, meaning, interger scaling is a no go. It'll ironically be good for emulating most things except DS games, which would look blurry like on a 3DS screen unless you do 1:1 pixel resolution and shrink the image into the middle of the screens. I hope I'm wrong and they actually source 512p screens for 2x interger scaling or perfect 2x resolution DS emulation. I don't want a generic two screen chinkheld, I want a genuine DS replacement to play DS games and just DS games.

Thumbstick on the bottom is a terrible design choice. That shit hurt my thumbs on the PSP, and I'm sure it won't feel any better with that DS handheld. I'm sure it's designed that way so they don't get sued by Nintendo, however.
