But rampages never made it past Rise, and grinding tempered monsters forever as the end game loop has existed since World. The only 'bad' thing Rise can be accused for is not having beta sets for armors, but they turned around and made up for that by giving us a variety of armor sets both classic and brand new (unlike Wilds which cheaped out and made beta sets a color swap).

I thought it was a continuation of Freedom Unite, Portable 3rd and Generations Ultimate, because that's exactly what it feels like. No bullshit, no wasted time, just straight up hunting. And yeah I still play Freedom Unite to this day and enjoy Rise so heaven knows what's crammed so far up your ass.
