i enjoyed this game but also had no idea was happening when i played it since, i only had it at my dad's house and i only saw him every second weekend so could not remember what was happening everytime i played it

It's a shame the mechanics aren't better explained, it really holds the game back. Otherwise there's still not really a monster raising game like it, Monster Rancher comes the closest but it's not the same.
