3ds was the one I played. I love DQ on portable since these games go so well with light tv watching. I know it looks and sounds worse than the original, but I had a good time.

At the same time, it minimizes how busted it is by making it so what you alchemized eventually doesn't sell for as much. The most busted thing would be that level ups restore HP/MP. I still think 3DS is the way to go, extra content means a lot for me.

I played the ps2 version. The pro is the gameplay and the soundtrack. I still remember the gratification I felt the first time I heard Heavenly Flight.
The con would be the meh characters. Apart from Jessica (which was great, I had her bunny suit for the entire game), everyone else was forgettable

There's a mod with uncensored outfits and orchestral bgm. The only actual negative is the graphics and that just comes down to whether you prefer more content or graphics

Why do you fags leave out how the audio, not just music, crackles and sounds horrible? Also the game looks like oversaturated shit. Those are cons you ape.

You get more gold from fights and exp in the 3DS version. I also like the option for sped up battle animations. I did think the original was far too grindy and slow
