not if you want to fit the biggest possible gun on the strongest available engine(s), and turrets also add extra complexity and weight

tanks usually serve an infantry support or anti-fortification role anyway, tank-on-tank combat is relatively uncommon

Fair, since air power is also scarce in Valkyrie Chronicles, large assault guns like it can survive the battlefield far longer.

True that Infantry does provide a decisive factor in controlling key forts or objectives, sometimes the not-so-humbe Edelweiss seems to be the best at its main battle role, IMO but cool T95 there
