I have seen it before, far too many times.

when the update comes and the janny's hammer comes swinging after a scarce one or two threads, you'll be crying that they do it for free. you'll be angry that we didn't get to have month long threads back-to-back.
but the truth is we will have painted this target on our collective backs ourselves.
