it's unlikely that publishers will want to require DX12 Ultimate features, especially now that xbox is kill. so, you don't have to worry until they start talking about Win12 or DX13.

7 lasted for years, even without DX12 and despite the fact a lot changed under the hood from 7 to 10. We are fine, W11 is essentially a UI overhaul+some spyware.
