Carmack with Quake 3. Dude is the most overrated game dev of all time at this point. Rage sucked, Doom of Duty sucked, he had relatively little involvement in Doom 2016, and his AI and rocketry endeavors are fruitless money sinks. His last real contribution was fixing Palmer Lucky's code and then getting cucked by Zuck. Dude was early, skilled, and rich but couldn't keep pace with all the goodwill, funding, and talent he had access to? Sad.

Enchanted Arms is pretty good and so is Shadow Tower: Abyss. Some people have very good things to say about their mech games. Also the King's Field series which I haven't tried. I think bloodborne is a good game but it seems like a stretch to call it their masterpiece.

I went to a Megadeth and Lamb of God concert a few years ago. There were a good amount of younger people in their 20's and 30's there, including me. What was crazy to me is I don't recall seeing even one black person or that many minorities there. I know it's traditionally not that popular a genre with blacks but it still suprised me because the concert was in a city with a large population of them and at most I saw maybe one balck guy there.
