Hello everyone. Kamiya, enjoying your steak? Haha.
Okay, so the main conceit of my game is that it's a tactical, turn based RPG with a combat system inspired by darkest dungeon, though of course with key differences to keep things fresh, but I won't go on to that now.
The player will have a 12 person party out from the gate, rather than building the party over time like a traditional JRPG. Oh, sorry, do you find that worried offensive. A trillion apologizes. The challenge comes from trying to maintain all of their party members, because they'll leave the party based on their happiness. One for example, is incredibly needy and will feel unappreciated if the player doesn't interact with them enough at campfires or in towns. Another could be a coward that might run away if things turn hairy during battle.
The player must balance the wants and needs of their party along with growing more powerful to face the final challenge. Of course the true ending is locked by having a full party of your original party members
