I got peer pressured by 4 friends to get it. I KNEW I shouldn't have after watching reviews. I didn't even like the look of the gameplay. I play 1 hour with them then they got off. Played another 2 on my own already bored. I don't have much experience with Battlefield but I played a lot of Battlefield One. But this game has some of the worst maps I've ever seen in a game. I can't sit and relax with a sniper because there's pc virgins sliding around like homosexuals with smgs cross mapping people. It's like I can't even get a refund and I'm depressed. I can't believe people hyped this shit up.

Im literally not whatsoever. I don't play EA games anymore, Rockstar games, etc. I didn't get A LOT of games that came out if they were made by certain developers. I never played BFV or 2042 either despite being asked to get them. I knew this game was slop after watching older reviewers talk about it. I just thought I could find some level fun with the game. I agree, but as a PC player. This is my first battlefield since Battlefield 2. This game is console shooter trash. Maps are claustrophobic and it feels like someone is dangling keys in front of my face with all the shit that pops up on the HUD.

In BF2 you could spawn somewhere and not encounter anyone for a whole minute. You'd find a truck, drive to the action. This one doesn't breathe. It's just constant chaos. And what's with the auto healing shit? What's the fucking point of a medic?

I enjoying it, not as much as I did bf1, but that game looked and sounded beautiful every step of the way. Shame it never got a crossplay patch, would be playing that with my buddies instead.
As for 6, it's good enough, but there's a few things that feel off.
>class balance - I just don't see the point playing as assault or recon at the moment, at least not until some of the later gadgets are unlocked.
>Assault is for the cod crowd, which works on infantry only modes, but shits itself as soon as a vehicle appears.
>Recon doesn't have enough team support tools. Impact of moving the respawn beacon is yet to be seen, matches I've played so far didn't have a single one placed by assault. Probably because the good gadgets are all locked away behind hours of grind.
>Support is already op, and they get mortar later, too. It would make sense for the recon to have mortar instead, so that they can use their rear positions or rooftops to some team benefit.

>Maps - I don't particularly mind that they're smaller, I hated the stupid long runs from spawn in older titles because every vehicle had a queue of cunts waiting on it. But from gameplay perspective, the maps are too much of the same color. And it's not even a pretty one - shade of sand(stone) , shade of concrete, etc. Vehicles and players just blend in, and while it might be "realistic", it's tiring to look at after a while; squinting between slabs of grey to spot a darker blob of grey and wait for an orange dot to appear to know it's shootin' time. By comparison, bf1 maps could be pretty much screencapped at any point during the game and smused as a desktop background. Even the dreary maps had mood and soul to them.

Franchises like Counter Strike, Call of Duty, and DOTA popularized lane-based competitive multiplayer map design, or rather, they gave more of what people wanted and grew comfortable with.
It's detrimental to the longevity of your game if you design maps which challenge the player to think.

As someone who has been a lifelong COD > BF dude, and a general fan of IW's low TTK slower installments of the series, I'm liking BF6. After MW3, BO6, and this upcoming BO7, I just wanna feel like a soldier in a big battle, not have to see Beavis and Butthead and Michael Myers and Nicki Minaj sliding around at top speeds.
I like Squad and Hell Let Loose and Insurgency and this is a game I'd group with those. Time will tell if it has legs.

even with good ping, the suppression bloom is so fucking bad you can literally be about 10 feet away from an enemy, shoot at him dead on with a shotgun, and if he or any of his teammates is also firing in your general direction, the entire spread will miss.
noticed this with the botmatches, it gets worse the more people are shooting in your direction.

the single player is hilariously bad. not so much the plot which is typical military action movie shit. the characters are decent, the latina tomboy is cute, but the actual gameplay of single player just fucking sucks ass.
you basically go from setpiece to setpiece dealing with enemies in a shooting gallery until several missions in and only in the second to last one do you get a real "battlefield" experience. the enemy and friendly ai are both totally brain dead fucking retarded. every time you get to a new battle area, everyone, including the enemies, waits to start fighting until you enter the room or catch up with your squad. your squad and the enemies can literally be staring at each other and neither of them will shoot until you show up or tell your squad to open fire by spotting. then every single enemy in the room immediately spots you and perfectly domes you in the head, killing you instantly. better yet, if the enemy is in a vehicle such as the minigun turret, your teammates will literally pretend they aren't there even if they are being shot at.

the enemy ai isn't much better and will usually run slowly towards you like you're playing serious sam on 25% speed, or just lock down behind cover and play the peekaboo game, whilst also taking 120% accuracy potshots directly at your own cranium. like elites in halo they have esp to see where you are aiming and even if they don't currently notice you will bob and weave to avoid your scope reticle which is really fucking annoying. even for a battlefield game where sp isn't the focus this shit is inexcusable.

The multiplayer is fine, I'm happy to have it in 2025 because there is nothing else that isn't CS or a sim. Blops 7 beta sucked huge cocks. That being said they shouldn't have even bothered doing the single player campaign with how ass it is.
