If the originals didn't exist and those two were just new original games, both would be bad games.
The fact we have two better games to draw immediate and direct comparison to makes this even worse.

Neither of them are anything like the game they are attempting to rip off. But Resident Evil 2 2 is the better of them.

Tell me what's good about it? Shitty movement? Blurry graphics? Like, no atmosphere at all because nu-horrors should be silent? Maybe yellow tape everywhere to prevent the player from thinking? Even fucking dialogs are bad like b-tier movie that takes itself too seriously.

I played original RE2 like hundreds of years ago, I barely remember what happened here, but I remember it was atmospheric, unlike this shit, which feels like a student project on Unity

They removed entire puzzles like the noose in the labyrinth, audio files like babies crying in the hospital basement, extra weapons, the entirety of Born From A Wish, the Abstract Daddies from the hotel, James's monologue to Mary in the In Water ending, they even cut paragraphs the Mary's letters
And this is just what I can remember, surely there's more if I went back to play that shit
