I think the art in this game is good even by modern standards. In fact, it's quite possible that this was a game that, with modern technologies, would suffer greatly from modern rendering issues.
It would literally be a myopia simulator, full of artifacts and trails in the image.

westerners have no appreciation for nature because they are too busy dismantling and humalting the family structure and relationships between men and women

Did you end up playing the new snap on switch? I was marginally interested but I haven't heard dick about it since it came out which is generally not a good sign.
remember when Snoy actually produced interesting niche game and experimental ludo like this, Tokyo Jungle, The Last Guy etc...? PS3 was the last good Snoy product before they went full DEI WOKE

I don't think most people bought it. $60 for a 2-3 hour game is a huge ask. I loved Pokémon Snap as a kid, but there was just no way I could spend that much on the same thing as an adult. This is why Nintendo is cancer for never having sales. I would have happily picked it up for $10.

New Snap was already 2x longer minimum than Snap at launch and got an update that added even more areas post launch. You are either ignorant or trolling.

$20 game at best. At $60, I'm looking at games like elden ring or perhaps even botw which does go on sale occasionally. This shit really is like apple for you dudes.

They really are charging a premium lately. Twenty fuckin' bucks for that single extra island in the new DK game. Ridiculous. I actually know someone who got the new Snap but they haven't played it yet so I'll have to bug them about it and see.

The statement is incorrect. While Wataru Hokoyama is a Japanese composer working in Hollywood who scored Afrika, he is not the composer for Ghost of Yōtei; that score was composed by Toma Otowa. Hokoyama has a long history of composing for video games and films, but his work on Ghost of Yōtei is not listed among his credits.

You probably weren't born yet, but Sony was advertising the game back then as being "hyper-realistic" and cinematic while they were trying to push the Cell meme. The game existed for graphics wankery.

literally a core part of Rome. Regardless, modern Greece also descends from Rome. the distinction of Orient v Occident was Rome v Persia. Rome is the west, Persia is the east. in other words, Arabia v Europe, or Christianity v Islam.
